The Route
1️⃣ Cycle Route 22
Begin near the bus stop access and join National Cycle Route 22, which links Trafford and Bolton.

2️⃣ Worsley Canal Basin
At around 4.6km, you’ll reach Worsley Canal Basin, one of Greater Manchester’s most picturesque canal spots.
Historic brickwork, narrowboats and tree-lined reflections give this area a strong heritage feel.
3️⃣ Old Warke Dam
Continue toward Old Warke Dam, a peaceful water feature surrounded by greenery. This section feels particularly calm and slightly removed from residential areas.
